What is Project 1,000,000?
Project 1,000,000 is ForPalestine's largest charity initiative to date, with a goal of raising at least 1 million Danish kroner (134,015 EUR) for the reconstruction of Gaza after the war. This project has been created with a long-term focus on restoring essential facilities such as schools, kindergartens, and housing for civilians who have lost everything.
Who manages the money?
All funds raised through Project 1,000,000 are kept safe in ForPalestine's account. We don't send any money until we have a fully developed plan that makes sure the funds are used directly for rebuilding projects. ForPalestine is an approved fundraiser by the Civil Administration in Denmark, which means that we operate under Danish rules for transparency and accountability.
What will the money be used for?
Our main focus is to rebuild necessary institutions for children and young people, as they are the most vulnerable in the conflict. The funds raised will primarily be used for:

Schools and kindergartens – so that children in Gaza can have a secure future and access to education.

Housing for families – rebuilding destroyed homes so that people can return to a more stable life.

Other essential needs – depending on how the situation develops and urgent needs arise.
Who do we work with?
To ensure that funds are used effectively and correctly, we only work with approved and trustworthy organizations that have experience working in Gaza. We are in dialogue with several international and local organizations that have access to the area and can implement the projects.
When do we send the money?
We only send the money once we have a concrete and verified plan for how it will be used. This means:

That we have documented everything so that we can ensure full transparency towards our supporters.
We also want to be able to travel to Gaza ourselves when it becomes possible to monitor and document how the project is being carried out. Our goal is to ensure that every single dollar makes a real difference.
